'Design your bedroom'

I decided to come up with a service that allows a person to create his bedroom with the help of specialists.

Personally speaking, my bedroom (back home) is the perfect place for me to be, that's why I took it as the base for my project.

I think that every person should make their bedroom a comfort place, however, not everybody can manage to do that.

My service introduces a creator who chats and tries to analyze the personality of a customer based on their hobbies and the things they fond of doing.

It is not about the interior design but about the process of creating the perfect place for a person. 

The generation of my ideas for this project are presented below. 

For the layout I picked my bedroom and asked my brother to take a picture of it. Then, I made him disappear from the mirror using the 'Pixlr' app and flipped the image horizontally so the room does not reflect and it is even. 

  

After that, I made some colour adjustments using the 'VSCO' app on my phone because I had some struggles with Photoshop. I think this room looks nice, it is attractive and warm to look at. However, it does not reflect my idea at first sight, the viewer cannot see what I am trying to tell just with an image.  

The next step was using Canva website to help me create the layout. I searched for the layout very thoroughly and probably the colour of the lines that match the colour of my walls in the room that is why I decided to work with it.   

Here is the final result. 

I tried to keep the words simple because the image is very colorful. I also added that the service suggests complementary consultation would definitely catch the eye of the consumer.

Research

Below, I present companies, who base on interior, which helped me come up with the layout design idea. 

I liked this Ikea poster, mine is very similar. Simple and easy to get the meaning. 

This website has a professional photographer who displays a series of teenage bedrooms from 90s. One can find many similarities because fashion circles around. The pictures are very inspirational and represent the personality of every teenager, how the things are put in the room, very artistic.

Here is another photographer, who travels around the world taking pictures of different rooms in different countries. His photos are taken from a very interesting angle which captures a whole room.

Last but not least, I found a photographer of bedroom interiors. He has very professional pictures. I think that his works are staged.

Reflection

I am satisfied with the work and glad that I had such an experience, overall. Even though it does not reflect my progression route directly, but Fine Art is defined by the creation process, so is my project.  I would like to try out other ways of making an advertisement, improve and polish my skills.
