Artists website research

Today in class I did a further research on fine artists around the world. Zoya recommended me to review Leicester's fine artist Tim Fowler by name. I find his works very interesting, they are all performed in one style, he presents colourful painted portraits. However, I think that he should keep working more on the website to make it as professional as his works. As now we are gaining more information while researching different websites for our own project, we can distinguish different good and bad examples of websites and now little things become very noticeable, like that a professional artist should include a title and a short description to each work. Overall, his website is very good because it is very easy to navigate
https://laurarobb.com/
Next artist I looked at is Laura Robb. Her works are very attractive and expressive. About her website, I think that the menu bar has too many options and you lose concentration. Moreover, her artwork section has a scrolling down page, I would not use this on my website, because it is quite hard to scroll through the whole page and I find it inconvenient as a viewer. Moreover, the description on 'about me' page does not express her as an artist and I find it quite hard to understand the true meaning of the work she is trying to sell, the purpose of the website as a whole. Anthony J. Ryder great artist, the works that he present, the portraits are very realistic. But the website needs to be improved, in my opinion, the home page is not that organised and has a failed image, which does not attract attention at all. As Laura Robb he does not have a description that would represent him as an artist and also he has a self portrait, I think that photograph would look much better because with the drawing I cannot imagine him, thus, he does not have any connection with the visitor of website. Though he has a very detailed teaching, his tips are very helpful. https://scottmattlin.com/ http://anthonyryder.fineaw.com/displayCustomPageCtl.php?custPageID=313
